get in, we’re going on an adventure

how did I get here?

some might say it all started when my mom read romance books with me in utero

You know, the kind that had Fabio on the cover. Then, she’d tell my dad, “Let’s go do page 272.” LOL.

I have loved reading since I’ve been a youngin’, from summer programs at the library, to my first ever “favorite” book, “Malibu Summer” by Jane Claypool Miner. I’ve read it no less than eight times throughout the course of my life and fun fact; my husband found a copy online and gifted it to me for Christmas a couple of years ago.

I loved English class in school and always preferred to write a 20 page paper over taking a test, if ever given the option.

My career path since graduating college has been anything but linear. I’ve had my fair share of jobs that, at the time, were complete ‘WTF’ moments. BUT, if I’ve learned anything as I’ve aged, it’s that every single experience, good or bad, leads you to something new. And, it’s how you learn from those goods and bads that’ll ultimately shape your life into what you need and want it to be, if you let it.

you can usually find me…

Posting on social media with long-winded but heartfelt captions, taking pictures and videos of quite literally everything that happens in my life (I don’t want to forget anything + I’m the family historian), or eating a delicious meal with my family.

Most recently though, I’ve been working feverishly to promote my debut contemporary romance novels, “Vivi il Momento,” which is Italian for “live in the moment,” and “Bella Vita” aka “beautiful life.” Both make up the “Italia Series Collection” and must be read in chronological order.

what can you expect from my books?

Romance. A lot of it. Paired with a touch of relatable humor and the perfect amount of spice.

In 2015, I vacationed in Italy with my husband, my parents, and some of their best friends. We stayed at an incredible Tuscany villa, Tenuta Di Corsano - and visited Florence, Venice, and Rome.

I took a nauseating amount of photos while we were there, found my signature summer scent, designed a large (very large) tattoo in honor of it, and have dreamed of going back ever since the day I left.

So, I returned mentally by taking two fictional characters, Mia, an American girl from New Jersey who’s tired of undeserving men, and Gennaro, Tuscan-born and currently policing the streets of Rome, and having them fall very hard and very passionately for each other.

Will it be an easy romance? Of course not. Romance isn’t ever easy.

But…when it’s meant to be, it’s worth the struggle.

creativity is everywhere
